WNDR MUSEUM
THE GOAL
Create a memorable, playful space
that would invoke child-like wonder.
At my time at WNDR Museum, I wore many hats. I started as the Manager, Multimedia Technology, a cross-department role of the Creative Studio and Operational teams. I installed all 30 installations at WNDR Museum Boston up until opening in March 2024, bringing life to 17,000 square feet of space.
Thousands of hands touch our interactive installations every day, so I redesigned systems, built asset libraries, researched new technology, and designed instructional signage. I also diagnosed and resolved issues across 200+ devices, which helped us hold a 4.6-star Google rating.
I created custom animations, videos, and sound design to adapt projections, LED floors, LED walls, and audio for seasonal themes, venue buyouts, special events, and press features. For live events, I ran playback and broadcasted video feeds.
I launched an Artist’s Call that opened an exhibit space to outside artists. I sat on the screening committee and served as on-site production staff, which led to our first community-driven collaboration for “Ballcade” by Clever Rock Labs.
I was later promoted to Creative Technologist, where I owned both the art direction and the technical development of exhibit remodels and new installations. I art-directed four keystone installations for 30,000+ monthly guests, and the museum was voted the #1 Best Immersive Art Experience by The Zoe Report readers. I also wrote the SOPs and technical diagrams that 70 staff members used to run the space.
